Why do I get an "access denied" message when trying to open my database?
- You have not typed in the correct master password. Even though this is a simple answer, many times this is what is happening. The master password is case-sensitive, so be sure you are typing in the exact case.
- You have forgotten the master password! This is always a possibility, so be sure you commit the master password to memory and/or store it in a safe place.
I am certain I am entering the correct master password but still get an "access denied" message when trying to open my database!
- Although rare, this can occur after an installation of another software program, which may remove some of Password Administrator's files. (The databases themselves you have created are not affected) To correct this, simply re-install the program to restore the database files.
- Be sure the the password administrator database is not marked as "read-only". To check this, right-clink on the *.pdb file, and be sure the "read-only" box is not checked.

It is not enough to simply restore Password Administrator from your tape backup. You must re-install the program, which installs and registers the database files on your system.
Why can't I use the "Large Fonts"?
Some controls in Password Administrator cannot be re-sized to accommodate large fonts. If you need large fonts, you still may use the program, but information may appear distorted in some cases.
I can enter my database, but can't edit any fields!
You most likely have the "Lock Edit" feature activated. Click on the icon of the lock in the upper-right corner of the edit field to turn this feature on/off.
